About Us
Anthony Mohr
Anthony Mohr is an artist, designer and entrepreneur. Mr. Mohr is actively involved in the strategic direction of the creative designing of the jewelry and proudly oversees all the aspects of the designs. It is his remarkable approach to business that creates a collaborative environment in which his wife and staff are equally committed to this artistic high quality and customer service.
Mr. Mohr started creating jewelry in his freshman year of high school. Interning with a jewelry store on the western slope after graduation, and working with award winning Dalan Hargrave, Tony expanded his knowledge of jewelry and cutting stones. He moved back to the front range in 1984 , and launched his first store in Wheat Ridge, Colorado in 1986.
Twenty-four years later, they have grown and expanded three times. Committed to their customers and passing along to them the value of great quality and craftsmanship, they have chosen to remain in Wheat Ridge at their present location, passing up chances for relocating and expanding their operations. They feel Wheat Ridge is only 20 minute from DIA, downtown and the mountains, giving them the ability to successfully serve all of their customers.
Mr. Mohr loves educating the customer in all aspects of gems and jewelry design. Making a nervous fiancée a confident diamond buyer gives him a sense of satisfaction. Along with his wife, Gayle, they love helping a fiancée decide how to make the proposal a lifetime memory.
Anthony Mohr was born in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1962. Moving to Arvada, Co. in 1976 and graduating from Arvada West in 1980. Mr. Mohr has received many degrees from the Gemological Institute of America and continues to advance in his knowledge of gem cutting and state-of –the-art jewelry design technology
Gayle Maschari-Mohr
Gayle Maschari-Mohr is an artist, photographer, designer, and entrepreneur. Mrs. Maschari-Mohr joined her husband in 1994. Gayle is actively involved in the creative designing of the store and the jewelry designs. Overseeing all of the operations of the store, and adding an art gallery (Element’s) six years ago, seeing a need for a place for local artist to display their works of art, photography and sculpture. With a spiritual vision Element’s Gallery was created. With an eye for what people are looking for, Gayle sits down with the customers and gets to know them, their likes, dislike, hobbies, occupations, and how they wear their jewelry. With this insight she helps them design a piece that is truly unique.
Gayle Maschari-Mohr was born in Sandusky, Ohio. Graduating in 1970, attended Firelands/Bowling Green majoring in business. After moving to Colorado in 1976 she finished schooling at C.C.D. majoring in Psychology and Art, with a minor in business.
It is that insight into people that helps her create jewelry that is an extension of who the customer is, where it is simply beautiful, or beautifully simple.
Dakota Mohr
Dakota, aka:, Fur-child. Dakota is the one who truly runs this company. She has everyone trained from the mailman, delivery people, and all of the customers. Press the buzzer to get in the store and she is right at the door to greet you.. Walk in the door and she is immediately at your side, walking you to the counter and showing you the way. Sitting by your side and watching you the whole time summing you up. Only then, will she let you pet her and show you where her treats are. She is friendly and loving unless she thinks you are not a friend and then she will let us know, because after all she is also a guard dog.
Born in Loveland on Halloween Eve. She is 11 years old and the most precious gem in the store. Our true mascot.
